山形交響楽団によるオペラ《蝶々夫人》公演にあわせ、音楽と絵画が呼応するコラボ展を開催。プッチーニの旋律から立ちのぼる情景や、蝶々さんの揺れる心の機微を手がかりに、色彩と光、花のモチーフとして再構成した作品群を展示します。会期中は、公演当日だけでなく、オペラの余韻や予感を感じていただける空間を目指します。どなたでも自由にご観覧いただけます。

Coinciding with the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra’s performance of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, this exhibition presents paintings by Maika Kobayashi inspired by the opera’s emotional landscape. Rather than depicting scenes, the works translate echoes of music—hope, hesitation, and quiet resolve—into color, light, and floral patterns. Hosted in the Shared Space B of Yamagin Kenmin Hall, the show invites visitors, whether familiar with the opera or not, to experience a gentle resonance between music and visual art. Admission is free.
